Parallel Preservation's Uniting became a full-circle story when DJ Natural Nate® VS Jiggabot remixed music from George Ron, a mentor who helped Nate learn the foundations of DJing and production.

Some records arrive with a history already inside them. Parallel Preservation's Uniting is one of those records. Before it became an original and a remix that both reached the Beatport Top 100, it was a bridge between a mentor and a student, between the first lessons of a young DJ and the decades of work that followed. When George Ron, known as GRON and through Parallel Preservation, trusted DJ Natural Nate® VS Jiggabot with his music, the moment carried more than a production credit. It carried friendship, gratitude, respect and the rare chance to honor the person who helped lay the foundation for a lifelong musical path.

Before the Charts, There Were Lessons

To understand why this release matters, go back to the beginning. Before the releases, before the charts and before DJ Natural Nate® had developed into the DJ and producer he would become, George Ron was one of the people who helped Nate understand the fundamentals that would shape his musical life.

George helped Nate learn how to count beats. To an experienced DJ, that can sound like a simple lesson, but every journey begins somewhere. Before phrasing becomes instinctive, before an ear develops and before decades behind the decks, somebody has to explain the structure underneath the music. George was one of those people.

Around the same time, George shared basic ideas about music production. Neither of them could have known how far those conversations would travel. George was passing on what he knew to someone eager to learn, while Nate was absorbing knowledge that would eventually become part of his own production journey.

The Student Becomes a Collaborator

Nate kept learning, practicing and pushing forward. Years became decades. The beginner who once needed help counting beats developed into an accomplished DJ and producer, while DJ Natural Nate® VS Jiggabot built a creative history of their own through releases, live performance and production.

Then came the request that made the story complete. Decades after those early lessons, George asked Nate and Jiggabot to remix one of his records. The person who helped Nate understand DJ fundamentals was now trusting the producer Nate had become with his own music. It was not just another project. It was a full-circle moment that could not have been planned.

“The mentor's original and the student's remix reached the Beatport Top 100 together.”

Making Uniting

When DJ Natural Nate® and Jiggabot began working on Uniting, they understood the history in front of them. Every sound and every decision carried respect. The remix was built to show how much they valued George, his work and the knowledge he had shared years earlier.

There were emotional moments during the creation of the remix because Nate and Jiggabot knew exactly what the record represented. They were not simply making another version of a track. They were putting decades of experience, friendship, love and gratitude into the music. The remix became a way to say thank you through the same art George had helped Nate begin to understand.

Two Versions, One Shared Achievement

The story became even more meaningful when Parallel Preservation's original version of Uniting reached the Beatport Top 100 and the DJ Natural Nate® VS Jiggabot remix reached the Beatport Top 100 as well.

For Nate, that was never simply another chart accomplishment. Years earlier, George had helped him learn how to count beats and understand production fundamentals. Later, George trusted Nate and Jiggabot with his music. Then both the mentor's original and the student's remix of that same record reached the Beatport Top 100. The title Uniting became a perfect description of what the release accomplished: it united the beginning with the present, mentor and student as fellow artists, and George's original vision with Nate and Jiggabot's interpretation.

What the Record Represents

This story reaches beyond DJing. A lesson that feels basic to an experienced person can change the direction of someone who is just beginning. The teacher may never fully know how far that knowledge will travel or how many accomplishments will grow from the foundation they helped establish.

George gave Nate knowledge when Nate needed it. Nate carried it forward, built on it for decades and created music alongside Jiggabot. When George handed them his own music, they returned that trust with a remix made from respect and gratitude. Uniting is the sound of that connection becoming permanent.

That is why Uniting will always mean more than a chart position. The Beatport Top 100 recognized two versions of one record, but the deeper achievement is the story behind them: George sharing knowledge when Nate was learning, Nate carrying those lessons through decades of DJing and production, and Nate and Jiggabot returning that gratitude through a remix made with real care. Parallel Preservation's original and the DJ Natural Nate® VS Jiggabot remix stand as proof that mentorship can become legacy, gratitude can become music and a lesson given at the beginning of a journey can echo all the way back through the speakers. This is what full circle sounds like.
