The Artist
DJ Natural Nate® is a registered name, a documented legacy, and one of the most technically accomplished turntablists to emerge from the Colorado underground. Born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany to David and Jacque Lemieux and raised in Colorado, Nate came up in an era when DJing was a craft learned by ear, by feel, and by relentless repetition — long before sync buttons, auto-mix software, or algorithm-driven playlists existed. He learned on two turntables and a mixer, and that is still how he performs today.
His sound is rooted in Electro Breaks, Electro Bass, Breakbeat, and the broader spectrum of underground electronic music — genres that demand precision, musicality, and an intimate knowledge of rhythm. Over the course of more than two decades, Nate has built a catalog of over 161 tracks on SoundCloud, accumulated 5,796 followers, and released music across 11 or more international labels. His YouTube channel has grown to over 10,000 subscribers with 144 publicly available video uploads — a fraction of thousands of live video and radio broadcasts performed across his career.

Every set reflects the energy of the crowd, the atmosphere of the event, and the challenge of maintaining flawless musical flow while performing live. There were no safety nets — only skill, preparation, and the confidence to deliver in the moment.
Rather than striving for manufactured perfection, these archives preserve genuine moments in DJ history. They showcase authentic performances where skill, creativity, timing, and experience were demonstrated in real time — in front of a live audience that witnessed every decision as it unfolded.
