Manual beatmatching is the art of matching the tempo of two records by ear and hand, adjusting the pitch control on a turntable until the incoming track perfectly aligns with the playing track, then nudging the record to lock the beats in sync. On April 29, 2010, DJ Natural Nate® set a verified world record by mixing 86 tracks in a single one-hour set at 133 BPM, performed live on The-Lost-Art™, with no sync button, no BPM counters, and no digital assistance of any kind. Every transition was performed manually, by ear, in real time.
To understand the technical demand: 86 tracks in 60 minutes means a transition approximately every 42 seconds. At 133 BPM: the tempo of hard Electro Breaks, maintaining perfect pitch and timing across that many transitions, without sync, requires a level of ear training and hand coordination that most DJs never develop.

HOW IT WORKS
