Why This Collection Scores 10/10 for Collectors
Three pillars of collector value, rarity, provenance, and cultural significance
Physical Rarity
8 documented photographs of unreleased test pressings. These records were never commercially released. Fewer than 25 copies of each pressing are believed to exist, show-exclusive, distributed only at live performances.
Historical Provenance
Direct from the artist's personal archive. Produced in 2026 through Bruise Your Body Breaks and The-Lost-Art.com. Primary source documentation of Colorado's underground electronic music scene, physical artifacts of a live performance culture that deliberately operates outside digital distribution.
Cultural Significance
These pressings represent a deliberate choice: not everything should be released. A large archive of completed, mastered productions exists exclusively as white-label vinyl, never uploaded to streaming platforms, never made available for download. Show-exclusive means exactly that.
How to Identify a BYBB Test Pressing
Four characteristics that distinguish a genuine Bruise Your Body Breaks test pressing
- 1
Plain white label, no printed artwork, no catalog number, no barcode
- 2
12-inch vinyl, standard DJ format, 33 or 45 RPM
- 3
Hand-written or stamped matrix number in the dead wax (if present)
- 4
"BYBB" or "Bruise Your Body Breaks" may appear on the label in handwriting
Understanding White Label Vinyl
The Format
White label vinyl refers to records pressed without commercial artwork: a plain white paper label replaces the standard printed sleeve. Used extensively in underground DJ culture from the 1980s onward, white labels allow producers to distribute music directly to DJs without going through traditional label infrastructure. They are tools of the trade: functional, anonymous, and exclusive.
The Philosophy
DJ Natural Nate® began pressing vinyl in the mid-2010s and has continued through 2026. The white label format was chosen deliberately, not as nostalgia, but as an active statement about exclusivity and performance culture. Every release in the catalog was approached with the same mindset: press it to white label, keep it exclusive, and let the music live on the dance floor rather than on a streaming platform.
The Significance
These 10 pressings are physical documentation of an ongoing vinyl practice rooted in Bruise Your Body Breaks and The-Lost-Art.com. Unlike digital releases, vinyl carries physical evidence: matrix numbers, pressing plant markings, and the grooves themselves. A large archive of completed, mastered productions exists exclusively as white-label vinyl, never released digitally, held back deliberately to preserve their connection to the live performance context in which they were created.
The Complete Pressing Catalog
Ten custom white-label vinyl records pressed in 2026 through Bruise Your Body Breaks and The-Lost-Art.com. Show-exclusive, never commercially released. Individual titles, catalog numbers, pressing quantities, and matrix numbers are documented in the physical archive.

THE DUB PLUG: 2026 WHITE LABEL SERIES
Mastered & Cut by Izzy @ thedubplug.com
10 show-exclusive pressings, never commercially released
In 2026, DJ Natural Nate® and Jiggabot partnered with The Dub Plug (thedubplug.com) to cut a series of white label test pressings exclusively for live shows. Each record is co-branded with The-Lost-Art and Bruise Your Body Breaks, mastered and cut by Izzy at The Dub Plug, and exists only as physical vinyl, no streaming, no digital download, no commercial release. These pressings are the definition of show-exclusive: if you weren't at the show, you can't own the music.

Why Dub Plug Pressings Matter
The Dub Plug is one of the most respected white label cutting services in the underground electronic music world. Having your music cut at The Dub Plug is a statement, it means the music is serious enough to press to vinyl, and exclusive enough to keep off streaming platforms. Every pressing in this series is a physical artifact of a live performance moment.
The Label
Bruise Your Body Breaks
Founded in 1998, Bruise Your Body Breaks is DJ Natural Nate®'s self-release vehicle, a Colorado-based imprint built entirely outside the traditional music industry infrastructure. The label was built on a direct-to-DJ model that prioritized the dance floor over commercial channels, and that philosophy has never changed.
DJ Natural Nate® began pressing vinyl in the mid-2010s, and the 2026 white-label series through Bruise Your Body Breaks and The-Lost-Art.com represents the most concentrated vinyl output of his career. Every release in the catalog was approached with the same mindset: press it to white label, keep it exclusive, and let the music live on the dance floor.
There is also a large archive of completed, mastered productions that were pressed to vinyl but never released digitally, unreleased WAV files that exist exclusively as physical records. These are held back deliberately. Not everything should be released. The white label is the format that honors that principle.
